In everything I do, I aim to support musicians and educators.
To do that, I teach mindfulness, excellent organization, and techniques for overcoming stage fright. I help music teachers banish burnout and craft a satisfying professional life.
And all of this comes from a core belief that as music teachers, we each deserve to feel supported.
We each deserve to enjoy our lives and not just feel exhausted all the time.
We each deserve to have access to the resources we need to thrive.
If you’re interested in working with me, I support teachers in a variety of ways:
Online courses typically run for 4-6 weeks. Each course opens enrollment 2-3 times per year.
Topics include: mindfulness for music teachers, teaching your students to overcome stage fright, getting organized, and banishing burnout.
Travis has that rare combination of wisdom and fantastic organization skills that make him a truly remarkable guide for those of us seeking to be better musicians and teachers. In a few hours, I became clearer about my values and my goals than I had been for years. I count the time I’ve worked with him as one of the better investments I’ve made in my work life.

One of my favorite ways to work with musicians and music educators is through workshops at universities, summer institutes, high schools, and music conferences.
Current offerings include a series of short-form (60-90 minute) and long-form (3-6 hour) workshops.
We were delighted to have Travis address the topics of performance anxiety and mindful practicing with a group of singers at our vocal institute. His workshop was informative, inspiring, thoughtful, and enjoyable. Students and faculty gained practical techniques to employ in preparing for performances that will allow them to reach their highest potential and to enjoy the process. Thank you for the wonderful work!

Working with Travis opened me up to a whole new way of thinking. Without his guidance, I don't think I would have ever realized the power that a simple mindfulness activity could bring to my life. His gentle support and encouragement allowed me to explore it in a way that opened me up to new possibilities not only in my own life but in the lives of the students I teach. I am eternally grateful to Travis for giving me the tools to embark on this path of greater joy and productivity.
